Literature | William Blake

"Every night and every morn
Some to misery are born,
Every morn and every night
Some are born to sweet delight.

Some are born to sweet delight,
Some are born to endless night." (Excerto)

I am not very fond of poetry, but I can't stop admiring the writing ability and imagination of certain poets. William Blake is one of them! I found this gentleman while watching the movie "Dead Man" (Someday I'll talk about this good movie, but for now I will just continue with Blake).
This poet (1757-1827) was born and died in London, was also typographer and a painter. Devoted himself to observe what many refused to see: poverty, social injustice, the negativity of the power of church and state.

The poem I liked from the movie is: Auguries of Innocence.
Basically, the poem puts the innocent or underprivileged against those who are blessed and elite.
